The program is a lifeline to many, but often we hear stories of those applying for the program having their paperwork seem to get stuck in administrative gridlock and having to wait months to receive their checks. That’s why I proposed an amendment to House Bill 325, which would require the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue to process property tax/rent rebate applications within 10 days.
