On March 24, a bi-partisan group of lawmakers announced the formation of the bicameral Anti-Human Trafficking Caucus. I had the opportunity to speak about our endorsement of House Bill 910, which would upgrade the offense of trafficking infants from a first-degree misdemeanor to a first-degree felony.
House Democrats Re-Refer Senate Bill 9 Again - 3/9/2026:

On March 10, Senate Bill 9, the Save Women's Sports Act, was re-referred to the House Children and Youth Committee. This is the third time House Democrats avoided a vote on the bill using procedural maneuvers. I will continue to advocate fiercely for girls, so they have the opportunity to compete on a level playing field. I will push for this legislation to finally be brought to a vote in the committee I co-chair.
